On 22 October 2021, the project officer of the WHO CC held a lecture on 'Sexuality education as a lifelong process - recommendations of WHO and the German Federal Centre for Health Education on sexuality education for children and young people in Europe'
In the lecture, the development of sexuality education in schools in Europe was outlined from a historical viewpoint and a sociological perspective. Furthermore, the lecturer addressed what is needed to provide high-quality sexuality education and why sexuality education should start early already. She also gave a comprehensive overview of the Standards of Sexuality Education in Europe.
